Jersey City Capitals – Beginners Youth Ice Hockey Clinic for 2025 to 2026
Beginner hockey clinic for boys and girls ages 5 through 9.
All level of skill and skating are welcome!
- Learn to skate
- Learn to play hockey
- Develop New Skills
- And most of all HAVE FUN!
Clinic Information:
There will be 24 sessions for a total of 24 hours of ice instruction.
All clinic sessions will be held at Charlie Heger Ice Rink at Pershing Field (807 Summit Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07307).
Clinic sessions will be held every Saturday and Sunday from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM between Saturday, November 15, 2025 and Sunday, February 1, 2026.
The first clinic will begin on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 9:15 AM, and the final session is Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 9:15 AM.
Tuition is $450
All instructors are USA Hockey Certified
Full ice hockey equipment is required (see below)
Skaters will be given a jersey at the first session.
Application Information:
All players must be registered with USA Hockey (https://membership.usahockey.com/) You will be required to send in the USA Hockey Barcode with your application.
There will not be any on-site registration.

Hockey Equipment Information
For the clinic, all players must have the following equipment:
- USA hockey certified helmet with cage
- Neck Guard
- Shoulder pads
- Elbow Pads
- Hockey Gloves
- Hockey pants
- Shin Guards (and socks)
- Hockey skates (please make sure that they are sharpened if buying new ones)
- Skaters will be given a jersey at first session
